DO YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL?
AT FIRECATT WE TRAVEL THE COUNTRY!

We deploy teams of 4-6 people to over 46 States in our Great Nation! Travel is typically for 2-3 weeks then 4-7 days off. We try our best to adhere to this schedule but you must be flexible and willing to travel for longer or shorter deployments.

When traveling you could have the chance to:

  • White water raft in West Virginia
  • Stay in a cabin on a pristine lake and fish in Montana
  • Visit Glacier National Park in Montana
  • Take the cog rail train to the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado
  • Swim in the Atlantic Ocean in Florida or the Pacific in California
  • Go to the top of the Gateway Arch in Missouri
  • Visit the Grand Canyon
  • Cross the Golden Gate Bridge in California
  • Visit Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota

Rain or shine but never in lightning or SNOW, you’ll work from April to October in the Northern United States and from November to March in the Southern United States. If you do not like winter or snow, FireCatt may be just right for you!

Working with fire hoses all day long is physically demanding! And we work with water so you will get wet. Using testing equipment relies on your brain. You will feel a sense of accomplishment every day knowing that the items you’ve tested have made a first responder safer. You will get to see all types of fire engines and equipment because at FireCatt we have hundreds of customers across the Nation. You will meet many fire fighters, fire chiefs and fire officers. For someone studying to become a firefighter or looking for a firefighter career, working at FireCatt is your ideal networking experience, essentially a paid “internship”.
